They live aloof from the world in Karelia, in the town of Olonets. Their lifestyle is very modest and lacking modern amenities, dominated by traditionalism that supposes deep knowledge of religious and folk culture, and at the same time aiming at personal growth with family values and love for their Motherland as a basis. Their attitude towards themselves, the world and society is very sublime, but without imposing their ideas on others, while they are strongly devoted to their views themselves.
